Dr. Rashmi Kakar
For Dr. Rashmi Kakar, exceptional dentistry is about more than creating a beautiful smile—it's about understanding the person behind it.
Dr. Kakar earned her bachelor's degree in Brain, Behavior and Cognitive Psychology before receiving her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Michigan. Growing up in a family of dentists gave her an early appreciation for the profession, but it was the combination of science, artistry, and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in someone's confidence and health that ultimately shaped her own approach to dentistry.
Since graduating in 2014, Dr. Kakar has completed more than 2,000 hours of continuing education, reflecting a commitment to continually advancing her knowledge and bringing thoughtful, modern dentistry to her patients.
Her philosophy is centered on personalized care. She believes patients should understand their options, feel comfortable asking questions, and never feel rushed into treatment. Whether maintaining a healthy smile or considering cosmetic improvements, Dr. Kakar takes the time to understand each patient's goals and create a treatment plan that feels right for them.
